Tour Plan

Day 1 - Haridwar to Barkot

Chardham Yatra from Haridwar begins from holy land of Haridwar. Departure takes place early in the morning for Barkot via Mussoorie, located on the foot of Yamunotri. Enjoy the stunning views of Kempty falls enroute. On arrival at Barkot, check-in to your hotel/camp. Rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Overnight in Barkot.

Day 2 - Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot

Post breakfast, depart for Hanumanchatti (40 Km), JankiChatti (8 km). It acts as base for Yamunotri trek. From here, your First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri begins, covering a 5 km trek. To complete this trek with ease, you can hire a horse or a doli. Along the way, you will be greeted by a lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, and several species of Himalayan shrubs. Yamunotri is where the Yamuna River starts its journey. Yamuna, also known as the twin sister of Varna, the Lord of Death, and the daughter of Surya, holds immense religious significance for Hindus. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri take holy dip in Yamuna River and perform Pooja, and take the same route back to Barkot, check in at Hotel / Camp. Overnight in Barkot.

Day 3 - Barkot to Uttarkashi

After breakfast check out from the Barkot hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check-in into your hotel. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical Monuments, Temples & Ashrams. In the evening, Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Overnight in Uttarkashi.

Day 4 - Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi

Early morning post breakfast at hotel, drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin visit the Gangotri Temple. The temple, dating back to the 18th century, is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. You will find this temple near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Return to Uttarkashi after attending the Pooja. Overnight in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 - Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

Post breakfast check out from the hotel and drive for Guptkashi. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the Guptkashi town. Overnight in Guptkashi.

Day 6 - Guptkashi to Sonprayag to Kedarnath

Early morning post breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From here start your 21 km trek to Kedarnath or you can also hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Cost Not Included). Upon arrival check in at Camps/Lodges. Overnight in Kedarnath.

Day 7 - Kedarnath to Sonprayag to Joshimath

Get up very early in the morning and take bath to reach the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Later you’ll start the return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Coordinate well with your car driver to pick you up after veneration at temple and leave for Joshimath. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight in Joshimath.

Day 8 - Joshimath to Badrinath

After breakfast drive to Badrinath Temple. Where you will drive amidst some ghats and wonderful surroundings. Visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) first, then take bath and go to the temple. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinath Ji is 15 meters in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire. Afterwards return back to hotel in Joshimath. Overnight in Joshimath.

Day 9 - Badrinath to Joshimath to Rudraprayag

After early breakfast drive to Badrinath and visit Badrivishal Temple after having a bath at Tapt Kund. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Mukh of the Saraswati River within 3 km circumference of Badrinathjee. Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga.
The idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. There are many other temples in the township. Drive to Rudraprayag and check in to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight in Rudraprayag.

Day 10 - Rudraprayag to Rishikesh to Haridwar

After breakfast drive downhill to Rishikesh, a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Upon arrival at Rishikesh take a sightseeing tour to Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. By evening drive to Haridwar for Ganga Aarti, where the 10 days pilgrim tour ends. Collect the wonderful memories of yatra with superbly planned Chardham tour package from Haridwar.
